Reality TV Highlights for Tuesday 4 November 2008

Tonight's episode of The Chopping Block is set between two Melbourne restaurants in the suburb of South Yarra. The South Yarra China House (you can tell by the name that the food is going to be bad), which does 'anglo-chinese' food, and Piazza Navona a family run pizza and pasta place.

The matriarch behind Piazza Navona, Mama Rosa, died after filming and tonight's episode is dedicated to her.

This show is highly recommended with Matt Moran very skillfully handing out some harsh truths in an inoffensive manner. Also the critic Alan Saunder's dry wit is very amusing.

If this show does not get more viewers the chances it will end up not being renewed. And that would be a bad thing.

The Chopping Block - 7.30pm on Channel 9.

Survivor Micronesia Fans V Favourites is on at 10.30pm on Channel 9 and this season is a cracker. Why oh why does Channel 9 bury it? Channel 7 bought The Amazing Race forward by an hour on Thursday nights and the ratings are much improved.

After Survivor if you are still awake there is Girls Of The Playboy Mansion at 11.30pm.

Arena TV at 8.30pm has The Rachel Zoe Project on. Arena TV describes the show as:

Stylist Rachel Zoe has worked with celebrities such as Lindsay Lohan, Nicole Richie, Jessica Simpson and Mischa Barton, and will now star in her new reality show. The perfectly styled, go-to force among "it" starlets, fashion houses, beauty firms and magazine editors will give viewers a fly on the wall look at how she juggles deadlines and fashion shows, while ensuring that she has plenty of time for the one-on-one requirements of her successful business as an A-list celebrity stylist. Zoe will show viewers how her personalized touch has made her a household name by making over models, private clients and advertising shoots.

I know I am going to love it.

Following it at 9.30pm is Girls Meets Cowboy.

Also another much watch is the new season of America's Next Top Model at 7.35pm on Fox 8 this the one with the transgender contestant on it.
