Ajay Rochester Pins Hopes On Leeza Gibbons From Keeping Her Out Of Jail.

Can this women save The Biggest Loser Host, Ajay Rochester, from spending time in jail? Leeza Gibbons who used to be on Entertainment Tonight is currently in Australia and may be a character witness at her sentencing hearing on 13 January 2009.
Ajay pleaded guilty to Centrelink Fraud last year. Also Australian singer Chantelle Delaney (I have never heard of her) has also written a character reference for Ajay. Ajay met these two women on the Olivia Newtown-John Great Wall Of China walk.
So she is relying on people she has known for 6 months for character references? They would barely know her? I think she may want to try and get people who have known her for a few years not some faux celebrities.
Channel Ten must be hoping this bunch of publicity will bring in new viewers for the new series of The Biggest Loser which starts on February 1.

New Year, New Seasons and New Shows - The Ads Are Now Out

The Biggest Loser: Couples starts on Channel 10 on February 1. This year it is all about couples. The sisters look positively lithe compared to some of the other couples. Good luck to them all for turning their life around.

This season Farmer Wants A Wife Season 3. No news yet on when it will commence. This year for the first time there will be a female farmer.

I am still trying to find a You Tube for the upcoming Ladette to Lady Australian Series.

Shannon Ponton - Is He About To Be The Biggest Loser?

The Biggest Loser publicists are again working overtime with news Shannan Ponton was abusive to his glamour girlfriend Jamie Wright. Just as they managed to deal with the host's Ajay Rochester's guilty plea to Centrelink charges (previous story here ) now they have this story to hose down.

Shannon and Jamie moved in together after a whirlwind romance but things went sour when she claimed he frequently called her a "pathetic bitch" and "a nobody" and that she feared at times he would become violent.

He denied this. However unlucky for him several ex-girlfriends are now backing up Jamie's claims.

Now most tabloid newspapers would be happy to have one ex to quote, but to get four is amazing. The The Sunday Telegraph here and the ex-girlfriends state that he has a history of emotional abusive behaviour. Now not all of these can be bitter and twisted.

Now what are Channel Ten going to do about these new claims? Could he be taking extra vitamins to maintain his buffed physique that have anger as a side effect?

The Biggest Loser - Will Ajay Rochester Go To Jail?

Clearly Ajay Rochester did not hire Todd McKenney's barrister, as yesterday Ajay Rochester, the host of The Biggest Loser pleaded guilty to defrauding Centrelink on 23 occasions.
She apparently took the payments between December 2001 and December 2005 when she knew she shouldn't have.
Rochester will be sentenced on January 13 next year. She did not appear in court yesterday.

The Biggest Loser is currently in production. This should mean Ajay will maintain the hosting duties for this year. We will have to see if Channel Ten will make any comment on these new developments.

It's Time To Leave - The Biggest Loser

The Biggest Loser fat-camp has been evicted from thier location at Duffy's Forest.

More then 100 submissions had been made by residents to Warringah Council including complaints about odours from their on-site sewerage systems, lighting, traffic and an overall disruption to the leafy residential area.

The first three seasons had been filmed here. Season four was expected to start filming earlier this month, but the 20 contestants are now looking for another home.

The My Kid Is A Star mansion at Dural could be still available as I am sure Channel 9 won't be making another series of that turkey.

Australia's Next Top Model Auditions Completed.
Australia's Next Top Model auditions have finished, with the last one held in Newcastle on the weekend. Alex Perry and Priscilla Leighton-Clark were the two judges that fronted that audition.

Now all the girls who applied have to wait until December to find out if they are one of the 13 to make it onto the show. In Australia we don't have the in between show where forty girls will turn up and talk to the judges and then their top 13 is decided.

Here are some photos of some of the girls who turned out at Westfields Kotara on the weekend.

Biggest Loser Shannan Ponton With Jaime Wright - then Who Is The Brunette He Is Going To Bali With???

Ros Reines in her column today states The Biggest Loser trainer Shannan Ponton is seeing Bondi bikini model Jaime Wright.

"It is early days" Wright says. "...He's a lovely man and this is something rare on the Sydney social circuit."

"I was hoping Shannan would help me with an event I am holding on Wednesday."

"But unfortunately he has to go to Bali next week."

Well Jaime may think he is lovely, but does she know that he has gone to Bali with another woman, a stunning dark haired beauty.

Onadrought disguised as a surfboard spotted Shannan and the mystery woman at Sydney International Airport as they are on the same delayed flight to the tropical island. The much delayed flight has meant passengers are currently holed up in the Mercure at the airport including Shannan and the girl.

At lunch they were spotted with intimate body language whilst supping on a bottle of wine, which was then taken up to their room.

Lets hope Shannon does not bring back a gift that is not worth giving.....

If there is anymore to tell I am sure Onadrought will report in post haste.

An update has come in an intimate gestures of feeding are occurring. I hope Jaime realised at this time they are not-exclusive. And to be fair to Shannan he needs to keep the brunette busy so she does not read the Sunday Gossip column.

Reality Tidbits

Cosi Has Been Told He Will Be Bashed If He Turns Up To This Weeks The Biggest Loser Finale.

An article in the Adelaide Times has Cosi claiming that Bryce and one other unnamed contestant would bash him up if he came to the finale. Channel Ten has hosed it down. Personally I think it is a load of bollocks and just Cosi beating it up for some publicity.

Chloe Lattanzi Another Hot Mess on Rock My Cradle.

Here is this weeks performance from Chloe Lattanzi on Rock My Cradle singing Korn's "Freak On A Leash". Rock My Cradle which is shown in the US on MTV is a reality TV show that has stars of famous children in a singing competition, with viewers voting who goes.

You get the feeling in a few years Chloe is going to write a Mummy Dearest type book which will make Joan Crawford look like Mother Theresa. What has Olivia Newton-John and Matt Lattanzi done to cause such deep rooted emotional issues and also why are they encouraging a singing career?

Anyway I hope she stays on as her performances are the highlight of my week. Come on David Gyngell buy it to screen on Channel 9 it would be compulsive viewing. Link here to the performance

Are Kyle Sandilands and Tamara Jaber the Chavs of Australia?
For years I have been stunned by both Kyle and Tamara's lack of taste first there was the magazine spread showing their Gold Coast type mansion, but now it has been revealed they are going to have a wedding that will rival any english footballers wives matrimonial day.

News.com.au reveals Tamara will have nine attendants and her dress will be designed by Joanne Panzarino who specialises in "feathers, frou, frou, and frills."

I can just see Posh and Beck's type thrones at the reception.

The Biggest Loser - Ajay Rochester Sick Of The Criticism

In the TV section of the Daily Telegraph today there is an interview with Ajay Rochester who has had to develop a thick skinned due to her not being the usual sleek and slim host of a TV show.

Ajay has come into criticism because of her own weight and also one critic said she had no empathy with the contestants at all and wasn't up to the job.

Ajay who is thirty eight says she disagrees on both these issues.

She feels she is winning the battle of the bulge and says the fact she has to watch her weight makes her a better host.

"I have been there, I have done it,"

"I totally get where they are coming from and what they are going through. When the camera is not on we all talk about it, share advice and they ask how I handle things.

"....I think it makes me a better spokesperson for the show, off-camera it definitely helps the contestants."

Ajay will spend as many as 12 hours a day on set, most of that time with the contestants. Which begs the question why doesn't she work out with them?

"Off screen I have a really close relationship with most of them. I have had lasting friendships come out of both series. And this series I have no doubt that that I will definitely keep in touch with a lot of them,"

However these friendships can have a negative effect on her hosting duties.

"Some of the questions I have to ask them are quite curly, and in real life I probably would never ask those questions, "

"I kind of give them a look that warns them so they know a curly one is coming that does not come from me.

"The very nature of that kind of [exchange] makes it ok, they know it is not me and it is just the show trying to get the best TV out of it."

She also has memories of being obese herself saying there were many times when strangers called her fat, or told her to lose weight.

"I got that the whole time I was big. I was standing at a bus stop once and a passing car threw an apple at me and yelled, "Why don't you go to Jenny Craig?".

"It's been six years since I've been obese, so I am kind of winning. I might not be skinny, but I am winning.

On the issue of the contestant weight loss is not sustainable:
"If you look at stats they show that 90 per cent of people who lose weight stack it back on within a year."

"So if you look you look at how many of our contestants have kept it of, it is probably 65 per cent.

"The reality is that it is a life-long problem, that you cannot learn in six months. And while some may have put some back on, or all of it back on, they may win the battle yet."

The finale will be on 1 May.

The Biggest Loser - Onadrought updates.

Seems like Cosi is getting a bit of a name as the baddie on the show, but what is so bad about being strategic when this is what the show is about? However, I must admit tonight, I was going off him a bit as he seems to have become quite cocky. I suppose being a radio announcer he always had a bit of that about him (he reminds me a bit of Kyle Sandilands), but now he's lost all the weight, and feeling pretty buff, he has become even more so. But he still must have a screw loose, succumbing to a 4000 calorie pig-out 3000 of that being tomato sauce.

Cosi was even saying now he was at his goal weight that he could leave. But he's only just hit that weight and could easily put on a few kilos immediately upon leaving the house. He's certainly not slender. And the thing about these people are that they are food addicts. A normal sized person cannot even contemplate a pig-out of the proportions of Cosi's binge, and like all the losers, he's an emotional eaters. They are all still in a pretty fragile state.

Garry won immunity and therefore got to do the walk. This walk saw him having to choose a stone, one of which said choose a male opponent to swap weight with, the other said, choose a female opponent to swap weight with. He wanted male, but instead, he had to choose a female to swap with. Tonight at the weigh-in, Kirsten who had been chosen only lost 1.7kg, so she thought swapping with Garry might not be so bad after all. However, had Garry as part of his strategy sewn lead weights in his undies, because tonight he had put on weight. Cosi said he would have tried to put on 4kgs if in that position.

It was a surprise to see that Bryce was also below the yellow line, and I have no idea who will be kicked out tomorrow night. It's obvious that Michelle will vote Kirsten off, Ali Bryce, Sam Bryce, Garry will have the guilts so Bryce and Cosi, who knows but I just had a feeling that Bryce stays in longer than that.

Cosi's cockiness rounded out the show again, when he bragged about being the Biggest Loser so many times. I bet the others are itching for him to be below the yellow line as he has not built up too much good karma in the show.

The Biggest Loser - Onadrought update on Makeover Night

Well, I might have to stop writing-off fat men, because fat men can become thin men, and some of them can look hot! I am referring to the makeover tonight, but I'll get to that later.

Last night was elimination and as I thought that Alison was the bigger threat, it would be her to go. I must just not be very insightful as everyone I spoke today, knew it was going to be Nicola, due to ex-Blues and Blacks not voting out a blue. At the water cooler today, the opinion is that all the Reds will go first.

Cosi curses the lack of strategy, but it's been a lot more about loyalty this year. It's interesting about what sets the vibe for a team. The Blues have been nicer from word go, whereas the Reds have always had a bit of a nasty edge. So it was only a surprise to me that Nicola was given the boot.

Two months after elimination, Nicola was looking hot. She revealed that no one had ever asked her out, so we can again see that fatness can be quite a chastity belt. She's always been a good looking girl, so what's wrong with the men out there? Can't they handle a few curves?

Tonight we saw the difference between Americans and Aussies. I found Jillian brash. When they were all sitting around together she ordered Bryce to go put on his Black shirt, when they are now no longer in teams. I can also understand why she was pissing him off in training. He's not a cry-baby, but her American hoo-ha was just a bit too much.

Now, back to the makeover. The contestants looked hot. I wondered how they were going to transform Garry and they did. Thank god they got rid of that beard. Maybe he too is one step closer to losing his virginity.

One thing about the show is that you have to be fat to go on the show, but you can't be ugly. Just about all contestants in every series has been attractive. This is so that when they lose weight, we can go WOW. Otherwise, they lose weight and if they are still ugly, people might think, "what's the point?".

Cosi was first out on the catwalk and he looked great with his straight hair. He looked hot. He started getting weepy, when he was talking to Michelle about his girlfriend, and lo and behold his girlfriend appeared. It was a heartfelt moment with them hugging, but he probably stayed hugging for so long so as not to reveal too much in his new Levis slimfits. Surely they must let the partners stay the night.

It continued like that with all of them looking amazing. Bryce, what a transformation! His girlfriend will think she is with a new man or will he be like Adro (series 1) and need a bit of nip and tuck? Probably not as he didn't have the man boobs like some of them do.

So this week, we are going to see Cosi slip and have a pig out. Also one contestant puts on weight, so I think that means they automatically go.

Anyway, not only does this show motivate me to exercise, I might even start giving fat guys a chance.

SPOILER ALERT - THE BIGGEST LOSER - An Onadrought Update

I know of a favourite who doesn't make it to be the Biggest Loser, but I'll tell you at the end of this post.

It was a more interesting week than most in the Whitehouse as they are now all on their own and their weightloss will be crucial, because if they fall below the yellow line at weigh-in they'll be up for elimination. So challenges and immunity are all the more important.

As there were no more teams, at the beginning of the week, Shannon took the guys, and Michelle took the girls. Shannon took the guys for a yoga session and the smartarses complained about how it would not be a real workout. I hate when people go on about things like yoga and dance not being strenuous, then it's great to see football players crash when trying to partake in what they dissed as sissy activities. Well, this is what happened with Cosi saying it was the hardest workout he's ever done.

hannon also wanted to get in touch with their spiritual side. Now, I am not much into sporty blonde men with tats, but Shannon is quite deep and I am finding him very appealing. Then again I am finding Bryce appealing and I am wondering if I should just put all this lusting down to the fact I am ovulating.

In the yoga session where Shannon was trying to get them in touch with their inner selves, it was revealed that Bryce lost his Dad in a car accident five years ago. Made you just want to go up and hug him. This guy has no false bravado,he is gentle, maybe this devasting experience gave him compassion and maturity.

The breakfast challenge was hilarious. There were all these different types of breakfast foods, ranging from The Big Breakfast at 3000 calories, down to watermelon at 45 calories. So think again people when you go out for your weekend brekkies and keep in mind that if you order the big brekkie, you are eating two days worth of calories.

The idea was for each person to choose a breakfast for another contestant. The winner of immunity would be the person that ate the most calories, the rule being they had to finish their plate. Curtains came down between them so they couldn't see eah other and Sam always the cheeky schoolboy, pretended to be eating when he was not. Cosi had chosen the big brekkie for Garry as Garry always gives into temptation. Next highest in calories was Alison with nine pancakes. Alison attempted it but was turned off by the sugary food as her tastes have changed. She couldn't finish it. Garry's tastes hadn't changed and he was drooling. As they were told to reveal if they had eaten their dish, Michelle with a 95 calorie yogurt had, and everyone was shocked that Garry had not eaten a morsel. I was surprised that others such as Nicola hadn't eaten her muffin, because it was unlikely that Garry would eat his, but anyway good on Michelle as she needed it after knocking back the 50 grand.

The big thing this week was the return of previous losers. They were all super fit. Last years Biggest Loser Chris was absent. Apparently he is fat again and starved himself to win the money. He even put on weight to go on the show. I think that's quite clever, it only took a 23 year old guy to get $200,000 in about three months.

An old loser had to pair up with a current one of the opposite sex. The challenge was to pull a bus to win a two kilo advantage. This is extremely impotant as that would see that person highly likely above the yellow line. We find out tonight if it will be Alison or Garry. As for my spoiler alert, apparently Cosi, is not the Biggest Loser.

Onadrought updates us on the latest on the Biggest Loser

Tonight, Biggest Loser started with the challenge that Sam had set up for the Blue Team. He must be a more skillful gambler than I gave him credit for, as they blitzed it. The Blue Team are looking good, winning the challenge and the weigh-in last week. Winning the chin-up challenge meant they had a immunity to give to anyone. They gave it to Garry, saying that he needed it the most. Turns out that decision was more strategic as it will break up the Cosi, Nicola alliance and also makes Garry indepted to the Blue Team, when the contest comes downs to individuals. The Blue already get on with The Black.

There was a camera shoot with Michael who was eliminated a few weeks ago and he is looking good. I wonder if he has hooked up with Sheridan on the outside. After JJ, she has to be one of the more annoying people that have been on reality TV. She also lives in Townsville, Michael in Orange. I had heard that AJ was a bit partial to Michael, so maybe she'd be a better bet, living closer to him. I think she is single.

Well, the Reds slaughtered the other teams in the weigh-in and it was a very tense moment when Michelle who had passed up $50,000 lost only a bit more than 1kg. As Blacks lost the least, she could even be eliminated tomorrow.

Onadrought updates the Biggest Loser

They were all a bit emotional from having their phone calls home the night before. Cosi, is a nice bloke, breaking down in front of his trainer about not being there for his pregnant wife. Michelle did reassure him that he was doing the right thing, I agree, as she said, "Cosi, you're not fat anymore".I've liked Cosi from the start, some say he is a smart arse, I find him witty, and can see why he is on the radio. I'd be happy for him to win.

Nicola, on the other hand, has been showing her nasty side, she actually quite gleefully said it would be great fun if Michelle (Black Team) left this week after passing up the $50,000. Even though I think Michelle was an idiot for that, I do wish her well.

Last night, the challenge was tough. Assisted chin-ups. Two team members had to hold up the one doing the chin-ups. Red won that part. However, that was only the beginning. Second part was to bet on how many full chin-ups a team could do. As Sam plays poker 6 times a week, he thought he's have this challenge in the bag. He started off well, betting, 4 then 5 etc. Why on earth did he then go for 43? We will see tomorrow night if the Blues can do it. Sam's already feeling emotionally fragile, comparing himself to the buff boys Cosi and Bryce, so I hope he makes it.

It was good to see that Shannon Ponton (trainer of Blue Team) got nominated as a Cleo bachelor. He's a really nice guy. In fact I think all trainers are great and show a lot of wisdom. I think AJ could use one (not being a bitch, it's what people are saying).

Onadrought updates on The Biggest Loser

Well, the $50,000 question was would Michelle, take the money and run, or should I say set herself up very nicely for a 20 year old, or forgo this once in a life opportunity for the chance to be kicked out at the end of the week anyway? She said it was a difficult decision as did AJ, to build up the suspense of what should have been a no-brainer, so I have to agree with Cosi that it was extremely stupid to stay in. As Cosi said, "this is a world first, someone staying in for the people and the experience" and as he said to her "if you haven't got the nutrition down pat now, then you're not going to." Totally agree. I mean, apparently she's got 20kgs to go, so even at moderate weightloss on the outside she'd be thin in half a year and $50,000 richer. Of course, as history has shown, most of the Losers put the weight back on anyway, so we'll see a New Idea story in a year titled, "She's twice the size and broke".

Of course, the show could be rigged. The producers probably told her Mum who visited yesterday to tell her to stay in, and Bob in the U.S to tell her to take it, so ooh, ah we have the suspense of "what would she do?". By the way, has anyone else noticed that the contestants parents are not fat? If the contestants just ate what they ate, they wouldn't even need the Biggest Loser.

Well, JJ went AWOL for good. Anyway, he's weight was down a bit now so probably doesn't need it so much. On Oprah last week, a doctor said that for every 35 pounds a guy lost, he grew an inch in penis length. Does this mean we could call JJ Donkey Dick? What does it matter anyway when the only ones to see it will be the pros he makes use of when he is out on the road.

It is official reality tv is manipulated!

Trainer Jillian from The Biggest Loser confirms what most savvy reality tv viewers know that producers manipulate the show to keep things interesting.

Jillian is peeved over claims that she handpicked JJ for the Black team.

TV Week reveals this was not the case.

The story is when Steven left the black team, Biggest Loser producers decided to replace him with a contestant who had been voted out of the white house.

While a recent episode appeared to show US trainers Bob and Jillian deciding that JJ was the best candidate for their team, Jillian says nothing could be further from the truth.

"[The producers] manipulated us and tried to make it look like we chose him," Jillian fumed. "We did not choose him. And I had a trantrum on set because I was like, 'I did not choose him and I'm not going to pretend as though I did!"

"We didn't even know him," she said. "We had nothing to do with him and I was quite adamant about that actually.

Her opinion on JJ? "That guy's an idiot - throw him under a bus."

Personally I think we all know that reality tv involves some type of manipulation by producers, and if it makes it more interesting so be it. I am sure producers on Idol decide who gets the lucky last spot and it is not drawn out of a hat.

I would like to know of other scenarios like this - they tend to be kept very well hidden, a reality tv aficionados have to guess at them.

Onadrought Biggest Loser Update

Does anyone out there like JJ?Is JJ the most unlikeable person ever to be on reality TV? If you disagree please let me know as I try to look for something good in everyone, but cannot find anything remotely appealing about him.

A colleague reckons the show is rigged, and that giving JJ immunity was rigged, as in spite of my repulsion for him, he does make for good viewing. However, AJ's genuine look of shock when he won immunity would show that she hadn't been clued in to it. I must admit, he can come out with some amusing comments.

At last weeks weigh in when he talked about finding love, it was pretty amusing when he said "I'd like to have a little JJ, and maybe a little AJ". AJ Rochester did not look amused. Seems like she too is in the hate JJ club. Michelle (Black Team) would be mad to not take the $50,000 for being this weeks biggest loser.

Chances are she won't have a chance at the $200,000 so why not leave with the 50? She has said that she needs to stay in the house, but others already eliminated are losing weight on the outside. Anyway, history shows that most contestants put the weight back on, so if you are going to be fat, might as well be fat with 50 grand extra.

Romance in the Biggest Loser Household

There is love blossoming in the Biggest Loser household, something that was not expected, I mean whoever looks hot when they are madly exercising, sweaty and read faced. Or feels like flirting when they haven't eaten carbs for weeks! Also doesn't not eating carbs make you breath stink due to the ketones?

Though I suppose if it can happen on Survivor it can occur anywhere, at least the Biggest Loser contestants have access to toothbrushes.

However Who Magazine reports that two contestants Sheridan Wright and Michael Sandford are having a romance, even though hooking up is discouraged in the White House.

"It was pretty obvious early on that we had a connection, and he's been an amazing support," Sheridan 26 said of Michael, a 25 year old accountant from Orange NSW.

Apparently they were caught on camera discussing their attraction to each other on 28 Feb episode.

The pair are on opposing teams. They are the first people to hook up on the show.

Channel Ten must be stoked as this should improve ratings.

Hopefully Biggest Loser watcher Onadrought will provide an update this weekend.

Regular Reader of Reality Ravings, Onadrought, has kindly written a blog on The Biggest Loser

Well, the Biggest Loser has been on for a couple of weeks yet as this show is just about fat people dieting and exercising, you have to wait for the bitching and slander to start before it gets really interesting.

This week saw the wrath of Michelle towards the red team for their booting out of JJ. I was surprised at Michelle's response as she had already had run- ins with JJ, and being that he was so difficult (read repulsive) to be around, that it would be a no-brainer that he would be first to go. She criticised Rachel for only losing 3kg, yet JJ, a big burly bloke only lost about the same. And as one of the girls said, Michelle was only around him one hour a day, and they 24.

Now I know the game should be about strategy and that keeping a big burly guy in, may have been a wise move, I could not have watched it another minute if he stayed. His whiney voice, hirsute sweatiness, his "too bad, too sad", his misogynism. He was one of those guys that pay out on women with no right to. It's always, the fugly ones in pubs that you hear picking not so bad women apart, basically because they CAN'T GET ONE! (I am refering to, when eliminated, JJ said well' there were several fat women that had been bullied all their lives for being fat, so were sore about it. Well der, JJ, aren't you fat too?)

Even though he told Michelle not to get emotional with him, he did have issues, and one being he was recently dumped! No doubt he'd be a bad root too (shit shouldn't have gone there, yucky just visualising it).Why did Cosi think JJ such a great mate? This only brings Cosi to that level. Now Michelle's issue with Rachel, who in Michelle's eyes as a young girl only pathetically lost 3 kgs. What is this show trying to encourage? A healthy weightloss is 1 kilo a week, no wonder previous losers pile on the weight once they leave boot camp.

Also what was that 6 hr torture session that Michelle made Sheriden endure? Note to viewers, do at your own risk! Granted Rachel said she wouldn't mind leaving, maybe she's not as obsessed with body image as the others and in her butch dykeness escapes society's stereotyping of beauty. Lucky girl!

This week also saw the fall-out from the strategies used in choosing the teams. Moral of the story, don't judge a book by it's cover. Young Sam showed insight in choosing the dark horses who turned out to be the biggest losers last weigh-in. And even though the red team are floundering (how pathetic was their lack of support when Sheriden had to do her 6 hours on the treadmill - who'd want friends like that?), the blue team are starting to show cracks with Mr Deep and Meaningful aka Sean starting to grate. That psuedo intensity would get on my nerves too. And another one that grates with that everything said in a dep and meaningful tone is Sheriden and don't be surprised if she starts shitting her team too.

Reality Tidbits

In the Daily Terror's TV section today there was some reality tv updates.

1. Australia's Next Top Model began production this week, with the 13 contestants moving into a harbourside mansion. They were introduced to host Jodhi Meares, and judges Charlotte Dawson and Alex Perry.

Their first task was to film a promotion for the show, then a photo shoot and their first catwalk run. No word yet on when Fox 8 will start showing it.

2. Contestants of The Biggest Loser have lost a huge 300kgs already. They are midway through shooting the series, and will commence on Sunday 3 February. This show will lead in So You Think You Can Dance.
