Jessica Mauboy Is Now Single.
Adelaide Now says that Jessica Mauboy three year relationship with her boyfriend Abdullah is now over. Time apart is the reason given. However she can console herself with the news that her single Burn is number ten on the charts. Source The West.
Simon Cowell Judgement Gets Clouded By Sex
Now Mag quotes Simon Cowell's ex girlfriend Sinitta who says his judgement is clouded by sex. Personally I think this is way to much information.
Sinitta appears to keep her media profile high by gibbering about her famous ex all the time. He must not care as she is holidaying with him in Barbados. I wonder what she will divulge from there.
Kara DioGuardi The New Judge On American Idol Has Hit The Publicity Trail
New judge Kara DioGuardi is now out spruiking the show that will be commencing next week. She thinks the male contestants may have the edge this season. Full interview here.

If you are lucky enough to be in Washington at that time the details are here.

Also Adventurous Tastes Blog reviews Top Chef Chicago runner up Richard Blais's new burger restaurant in Atlanta, and gives it the thumbs up. I am not sure about the Krispy Kreme milkshake.

Reality Tidbits
Kristy Hines To Get Married in March.
Kristy Hines, host of Project Runway Australia, is not going to muck a round with a long engagement. Apparently the invitations have been sent out for a three day wedding spectacular from March 18-20 in Palm Beach, Florida.
Here is an article where she talks about why she loves him so. There is no mention on whether they plan to have children. Congratulations to you both.
Channel Seven Has Apologised For Sonia Kruger's 'racist' Comments.
Channel Seven has apologised unreservedly for Sonia Kruger's distasteful comments to musical director Chong Lim on the television show Dancing With The Stars.
The network insisted the presenter's remarks were not intended to be racist, especially as the pair enjoyed a long-standing friendship.
Kruger made the derogatory comments about a "sweatshop of illegal immigrants'' slaving away on her wardrobe for the Melbourne Cup Carnival.
"Let's just say there's a sweatshop full of illegal immigrants working on them right now,'' Kruger said before referring to Lim, the show's Malaysian-born musical director.
"How's the family, Chong? All right?''
Sonia this week refused to apologise about the remarks. Maybe she was just trying to highlight that Australian designers are known to have their clothes made in sweatshops where pay and conditions are bad.......Ok maybe not.
Full story on Daily Tele
Natalie Bassingthwaite Admits Her First Audition For SYTYCD AU Sucked.
In an interview in the Sunday Telegraph "The Bass" says her first audition for the Australian version of SYTYCD was not great.
In the interview she reveals:
Because she tried to emulate the style and brash attitude of the successful American version of the show, her first audition, by her own admission, "sucked''.
"I did a terrible audition. I walked away thinking: 'I'm really bad at this. Even if they want me to do it, I don't think I can.'''
But Channel 10 programming boss David Mott invited her back for a second audition - and Bassingthwaighte won the job.
Natalie had mixed reviews for her hosting style this year, but she did improve by the end of the season. Lets hope this continues into the next year.

Natalie Bassingthwaite Got Fugged.

So You Think You Can Dance Australia host Natalie Bassingthwaite has had the dubious honour of getting a panning by the Fug Girls on their very popular website gofugyourself.com.
In a post titled So You Think You Can Fug Australia the hilarious Fuggers have a go at Natalie's shoes.
"And here, she is wearing what can only be called EXTREME GLADIATORS. They
would be awesome if I wasn't so scared of them. I mean, those shoes are going to
awaken in the night and come after you. They are going to run over your patent
leather pumps with no regard for the blood they've spilt in their quest for
dominance of your closet. These shoes will take over your LIFE. These shoes are
RUTHLESS."

I am surprised the did not mention the matching lipstick and dress.
They labelled their blog "strange foreign stars". Ouch.

Reality Tidbits
The Bitching From Make Me A Supermodel Continues - Keep It Coming Girls.
Sheridan Seekamp who was eliminated last night Make Me Supermodel decided to give a last swipe at Kassie.
She said "Luke had a crack but I wasn't interested.... I thinks that's why Kassie hated me so much."
Does she mean Kassie hated her because she rejected Luke, Kassie's own paramour or that Kassie hated her because Luke had shown interest in her?
Am I going to spend anymore time thinking about it? NO.
Is Ruby Rose the female equivalent of Shane Warne?
Actually I don't think so. But the mainstream media thinks that if she is hanging out with a girl she must be sleeping with the - because really every girl now has been brainwashed by that Kate Perry song.
The latest rumour involves third place getter from Australia's Next Top Model Samantha Downie when they turn up to the Rolling Stone Party together. Of course Sam has form due to her kiss with Leiden Kronemberger on the show.
Anyway it is all bollocks Sam has a boyfriend in Melbourne, though for how much longer is unclear as an agent from Milan has shown interest in the photogenic Samantha.
Syd Confidential has the full story.
Natalie Bassingthwaite To Launch Solo Album in November.
So You Think You Can Dance Australia host Natalie Bassingthwaite will be juggling her SYTYCD duties with promoting her new solo album.
Apparently going solo was harder then she thought it would be.
Auditions for the show are currently occurring around Australia. Details here. Apparently Bonnie Lythgoe will be on the judging panel again this year. Is this part of her divorce settlement?
Micheal Johns From American Idol Media Clips Whilst In Australia.
Considering this years season of American Idol was only shown on Fox 8, Michael Johns appears to have plenty of fans here.
His fan site Michael Johns Online/ has clips from Kerry Ann Kennerley and his performance on the Sunrise program.
He is hotter then any of the male contestants we have on this years Idol. Apologies to the eight year old Tom Williams fans.

Natalie Bassingthwaite admits she was crap in the first few weeks of So You Think You Can Dance.
In an article here on the Daily Terror website Natalie Bassingthwaite admits her performance on the first few weeks of So You Think You Can Dance was under par.
She said:
"In the first few episodes I was absolutely petrified and it obviously came across," she said at Redfern CarriageWorks where the series is filmed.
"Some of the criticism did hurt, it did make me feel I shouldn't have done this.
"But I never went out there to say I'm the best host, but you know - I'm having a go.
"So I got through that moment and I'm happy with how I progressed - if you strip it all back and be true to yourself, that's what works the best."
We all remember the weird stoned autocue eyes, and stilted repartee, however she has improved in leaps and bounds and does look more comfortable in the role.
I like her honesty.
Channel Ten taking show cross promotion to a new heights by revealing Big Brother contestants on their other programs this week.
Obviously Channel 10 think that the Big Brother viewing audience is desperate to know who will be going into the Gold Coast compound next week by saying that the contestants will be revealed across other top rating Channel 10 tv programs this week.
The first inmate will show their face in a reel to run on So You Think You Can Dance tomorrow night, followed by the second and the third housemates being announced on Bondi Rescue and The Biggest Loser respectively.
I think I will just wait to get the information off the Big Brother forums.

Simon Cowell Thinks This Year's Idol's Lack Personality.
As we know Simon Cowell does speak the fountain of truth.
He said in article to Variety American Idol cast lacks personality as exemplified by how they have presented themselves on the program thus far.
“They are giving very safe answers to questions, making safe song selections,” Simon said.
“We are not getting a sense of who they are. We have to try to pull it out of them more.”
Simon also said Michael Johns’ elimination, which was a shock to many – including the singer himself, shouldn’t have been so unexpected.
“You cannot deliver an uninspired performance at the top of the show,” Cowell said. “And you can’t be up there imitating another singer.”
I know Simon it makes you long for Danny Noriega to be back on the show. Maybe the voting public cannot handle anything other then bland?
Speaking of bland here is some post elimination tidbits from Kristy Lee Cook
EW exit summary with Kristy Lee Cook. She admits to the record contract at 17 years which was released.
American Idol Co-Host in Season One Brian Dunkleman admits he was an idiot to leave the show after one season.
Now we all make poor career decisions in our lives, but not ones as big as Brian Dunkleman who was co-host of American Idol in Season One with Ryan Seacrest, who decided not to continue on in the role after one season
As we know Ryan Seacrest is now mega rich, famous radio and TV personality with lots of blond women hanging off him.
Now where is Brian?
Well read the article here. to find out.

Hopefully Charlotte Dawson Is Not Mentoring Those Innocent Australia's Next Top Model Girls, as Ex Hubby is in deep s**t.
Charlotte Dawson who is a judge on Australia's Next Top Model, ex husband Scott Miller has been arrested as part of a production of an illegal drugs syndicate.
Charlotte who had an acrimonious divorce from him, including suing Woman's Day successfully fled to New Zealand for a number of years after the split.
She won't be happy about being tarnished by him again especially as she has successfully reestablished her career and social life in Sydney.
Link to full story on the drug bust here.
Tarasai Vushe Australian Idol Contestant from last year claims she was kidnapped and held by ex-boyfriend for 8 hours.
Gosh I feel I like I am writing a crime blog today. Tarasai has claimed she was kidnapped by her ex-boyfriend and held for 8 hours before she was released. However she is refusing to go to the Police, but willing to talk about her ordeal with the media. Does this mean the media is more powerful then the police in NSW??
Seriously if she was a victim of domestic violence she should go the police and be a role model for other women in these situations.
Tarasai who went out of Idol in a blazing tantrum, refusal to go the Police will only result in further criticism from the viewing public.
Story from News.com.au here
Kristy Lee Cook and Nigel Lythgoe Spotted Flirted At American Idol Taping.
Ok maybe I am reading more into this then I should but a very interesting article on the taping of the Mariah Carey elimination show on EW here reveals that there was quite a bit of giggling and chat between Idol producer and SYTYCD judge Nigel Lythgoe and Kristy Lee in the breaks.
Well weirder things have happened, look at Russian President Putin who is allegedly about to marry a 24 year old ex-gymnast. I blame French Prime Minister Sarkovsky for starting the trend when he married the ex super model Carla Bruni. What next Kevin Rudd with Jennifer Hawkins. Yuck.
For Survivor Fans Behind the Scenes Look At Survivor China
This link will take you to some short videos on Behind the Scenes look at Survivor China. I found it quite interesting, there seems to be a squillion people working on the show. The one linked there is about the Dream Team, these people test the challenges. All the vids are hosted by Jeff Probst.
Natalie Bassingthwaite is the new face for Garnier Nutrisse
Natalie Bassingthwaite the girl everywhere at the moment has now been signed for 12 months as the face of Garnier Nutrisse, they will include colouring and cutting her hair. So we can judge the products on Sunday's show some of her do's on the show have been tres ordinary.
More details here.

Reality Tidbits
Andrew G still has not signed on to co-host Australian Idol this year.
Andrew G is still in negotiations to sign on as co-host with James Matheson of this season's Australian Idol.
Before Andrew G fans start hyperventilating with horror his new agent Mark Morrissey has this to say.
"All issues have been resolved and he is expected to sign with Idol again,'' he insisted. "Andrew will be back. He's looking forward to it.''
Camilla Jakimowicz may soon be heard on radio.
After Camilla's articulate eviction speech last Monday it is no surprise she expressed an interest in a radio and TV career. This girl knows how to work a reality tv show to benefit her career.
The article in the Courier Mail states she has already had one offer, and also is in talks with a Sydney radio station.
Sometimes you don't need to come first in the competition to be a winner.
Article with Natalie Bassingthwaite in the Sunday Tele Magazine
A semi in depth article with Natalie Bassingthwaite host of So You Think You Can Dance in the Sunday Telegraph.
It was interesting that her career did not really kick off until the mid twenties, after the break down of her first marriage. Some nice photos of her as well.

Project Runway Looking for Contestants.
The Australian version of Project Runway is looking for contestants. Those who are interested in applying to be on the fashion designer show have until Sunday to apply at http://www.arenatv.com.au/.
Auditions have been ongoing for the panel of judges on the show. Apparently Mia Freedman is understood to have withdrawn her bid after auditioning.
Other people under consideration are Madison maven Paula Joye, Harpers Bazaar's Claudia Navone, and news.com's Patty Huntington.
Designers who are vying for a place on the panel are Fleur Wood, Bowie Wong, Camilla Freeman, Jayson Brunsdon, and Gail Elliot.
Kristy Hines will host the show.
Kassy Lee from So You Think You Can Dance has Scored a Cleo Bachelor.
Kassy Lee who unlucky for her was eliminated in the second week of the competition has apparently won in the lurve stakes.
As is the due of any reality tv star these days, after being punted you get invited to a lot of B list social events around town, and why not make the most of your 15 minutes of fame to pull a hot looking West Tigers footballer.
It is rumoured at the Cosmopolitan Bartender of the Year Bash she successfully scored with promising West Tigers player Nick Youngquest. The lucky girl should make sure she does not distract him in the lead up to football season otherwise she may have to contend with some very disgruntled fans.
Daniel Mifsud to Support Ricki-Lee on her national tour.
Daniel will support Ricki- Lee on her upcoming tour over the month. The first gig is on Friday at Dapto Leagues Club.
Daniel emailed his friends saying "Ricki-Lee is an amazing singer, a beautiful person, and it's such a great privilege for me she has asked me to do her support".
A list of her tour dates can be found at her website http://ricki-lee.com/
Rogue Traders will also be touring in April and May.
After Natalie Bassingthwaite's finishes her commitments as host of So You Think You Can Dance, there will be no time for a spa holiday in Thailand as she will be commencing a tour with her band the Rogue Traders.
It will be the last time in two years fans of the band will be able to catch them live, as Natalie will be working on her own career, and solo album. I suspect she will be trying to crack the lucrative US market as she now has a base in LA.
I wonder if she will have gained any new fans from SYTYCD.

Natalie Bassingthwaite - hardest working person in showbusiness?
Whether you like her or not Natalie Bassingthwaite currently must be one of the hardest working person in show business.
An Interview in the Herald Sun states that last week Natalie hosted two episodes of So You Think You Can Dance, plus filmed a new video clip for her band, plus performed at a cricket function.
The article reveals how she copes with it all.
Makes me exhausted just reading about it.
