Ajay Rochester go buy a lottery ticket, as today is your lucky day. Today magistrate Pat O'Shane recorded no conviction, against the The Biggest Loser host, and placed her on a 12 month good behaviour bond at her sentencing hearing today after she had pleaded guilty to defrauding Centrelink.

Ajay cried with relief. She had said yesterday that a conviction would ruin her career.

She said outside the court "I am just so happy to put it behind me and move on with my life and be with my boy, and be happy and just get on with my future.".

The big question now is will Channel Ten start using her in the promos for the new season of The Biggest Loser which starts on Feb 1?

One reason not to go to court is that all your private secrets come out. It was revealed in court today that Ajay Rochester, the host of The Biggest Loser, only earned $50,000 for the first season of the weight loss program. Rochester who today had her sentencing hearing for Centrelink fraud postponed until tomorrow.

The SMH states Pat O'Shane, the magistrate presiding over the hearing, wants more information on the chronolgical order of events of the Centrelink investigation. Particularly in the delay in the time of the offences in 2005, and the time it took to get to court.

Anyway the media circus will continue tomorrow for Ajay. So let us hope she has another court outfit to wear.

The Biggest Loser Host, Ajay Rochester In Court Next Month.

Ajay Rochester will face court next month after pleading not guilty last week to 23 welfare charges. The single mum has been accused of receiving Centrelink benefits when she was not eligible for them.

Ajay is a single mum with an autistic son. She allegedly received welfare payments between December 2001 and December 2005.

Jennifer Hudson Is Offering A $100,000 Reward.

Ex American Idol alumni Jennifer Hudson is offering $100,000 for the safe return of her seven year old nephew. Jennifer whose mother and brother were murdered over the weekend by her brother in law is now back in Chicago with her family.

The brother in law has been arrested however the whereabouts of the seven year old is unknown. The brother in law is being uncooperative with Police. What a prick.

Australia's Next Top Model Auditions Completed.
Australia's Next Top Model auditions have finished, with the last one held in Newcastle on the weekend. Alex Perry and Priscilla Leighton-Clark were the two judges that fronted that audition.

Now all the girls who applied have to wait until December to find out if they are one of the 13 to make it onto the show. In Australia we don't have the in between show where forty girls will turn up and talk to the judges and then their top 13 is decided.

Your Not a Reality TV Star If You Haven't Had a Court Appearance.

Todd McKenney is not the only reality TV star having to front court this year (we won't go into the planted drug saga) with AJ Rochester, the host of The Biggest Loser, being charged with Centrelink fraud.

Ms Rochester was meant to be in court today, however her solicitor appeared for her. The magistrate decided that was not good enough and has deferred the court case until July 8 and ordered her to appear.

She is currently in Fiji on holiday, so any relaxation she gets will soon be negated by her upcoming court appearance. Related article here.

Big Brother Must Have Been Hoping For Renaee To Be Pregnant To Improve Ratings
It has been revealed that Big Brother made Renaee take a pregnancy test whilst on the show. It was reported that she was showing symptoms of nausea, vomiting and weight gain.

Unfortunately for BB producers it was negative. Kyle Sandilands return has not improved the mediocre ratings for this years series.

In the TV section of the Daily Telegraph today there is an interview with Ajay Rochester who has had to develop a thick skinned due to her not being the usual sleek and slim host of a TV show.

Ajay has come into criticism because of her own weight and also one critic said she had no empathy with the contestants at all and wasn't up to the job.

Ajay who is thirty eight says she disagrees on both these issues.

She feels she is winning the battle of the bulge and says the fact she has to watch her weight makes her a better host.

"I have been there, I have done it,"

"I totally get where they are coming from and what they are going through. When the camera is not on we all talk about it, share advice and they ask how I handle things.

"....I think it makes me a better spokesperson for the show, off-camera it definitely helps the contestants."

Ajay will spend as many as 12 hours a day on set, most of that time with the contestants. Which begs the question why doesn't she work out with them?

"Off screen I have a really close relationship with most of them. I have had lasting friendships come out of both series. And this series I have no doubt that that I will definitely keep in touch with a lot of them,"

However these friendships can have a negative effect on her hosting duties.

"Some of the questions I have to ask them are quite curly, and in real life I probably would never ask those questions, "

"I kind of give them a look that warns them so they know a curly one is coming that does not come from me.

"The very nature of that kind of [exchange] makes it ok, they know it is not me and it is just the show trying to get the best TV out of it."

She also has memories of being obese herself saying there were many times when strangers called her fat, or told her to lose weight.

"I got that the whole time I was big. I was standing at a bus stop once and a passing car threw an apple at me and yelled, "Why don't you go to Jenny Craig?".

"It's been six years since I've been obese, so I am kind of winning. I might not be skinny, but I am winning.

On the issue of the contestant weight loss is not sustainable:
"If you look at stats they show that 90 per cent of people who lose weight stack it back on within a year."

"So if you look you look at how many of our contestants have kept it of, it is probably 65 per cent.

"The reality is that it is a life-long problem, that you cannot learn in six months. And while some may have put some back on, or all of it back on, they may win the battle yet."

The finale will be on 1 May.
